Are you interested in studying at Griffith College but want to get to know us a bit better? Griffith College's annual Schools Week is a great way to experience a “day in the life” of a Griffith student! Our faculties will host a variety of fun and engaging workshops over the Easter holidays.


Fill out the registration form below to book a place on the workshop/s of your choice. Please note that the running of the workshops is subject to numbers. The workshops can only run if there is a minimum number of people signed up and in some cases, there is a maximum number allowed. So book your places quick and if you can no longer attend please cancel before 08th April as there might be a waiting list.

Schools Week 2022 Workshops & Events

Are you thinking about studying Law at college? The Law Faculty at Griffith College are delighted to host a day of virtual talks enabling you to experience being a 'Law Student for a Day'. The purpose of this event is to give you a better insight into what studying Law at Griffith College is like and to hear from professional law practitioners about the different career prospects available to graduates.

Are you a creative person with a passion for filmmaking, storytelling on screen, or photography? Would you like to learn more about the many careers in these areas while also getting the chance to experiment with professional equipment, developing your knowledge and skills? In this three-hour in-person workshop, you will get the chance to work in our kitted out TV studio, photography studio, and computer lab, using industry-standard cameras, lighting, and editing software.

In this workshop participants will be divided into 3 groups and will spend 1 hour in each area. The groups will rotate. 4 hours have been allocated for this event to allow for breaks.

Meet Claire Cullen, better known as Clisare, who will talk to you about her experiences and give you some advice about how to become an influencer, making unique and funny online content and videos. Clisare, is an award-winning Irish YouTuber, TikToker and more recently, Twitch streamer. She was previously the YouTube Ambassador to Ireland and has over 270,000 followers & 20M+ views across her YouTube channels and social media platforms. Claire teaches in the Faculty of Media and Communications at Griffith College Dublin. 

We know that leaving secondary school and progressing to college or into the world of work can be daunting, so our Careers Officer, Emma Flynn is here to help. Emma will deliver an online workshop demonstrating how to build a great CV from scratch, identifying your transferrable skills to make sure you stand out. This workshop also aims to improve your digital literacy skills and will teach you how to present yourself professionally on social media and other online platforms.  

Join a member of our Business Faculty to learn how to improve your interview skills using some easy to remember tips and tricks. These techniques will help you to keep your cool and effectively communicate your ideas. Being able to identify your relevant experiences and present them coherently and memorably is a unique skill to have and one that can put you a step above the rest. It is required for interviews, performance reviews and to pitch your entrepreneurial and business plans.

Have you ever thought about owning a café, being a personal shopper, running a fitness class, selling your artwork online, upcycling vintage clothes and accessories, being a nail technician, basically being your own boss? If so, then join a member of our Business Faculty online where you will learn ‘How to Start a Startup’, developing your business plan.
