Red Flag Global visits Griffith campus

Red flag director of public affairs at Griffith campus to talk about the graduate employment programme

Thanks very much to Noel Rock, Director of Public Affairs, and Hazel Kerrigan, Account Manager, at Red Flag for coming on campus recently to speak with our BA and MA students of public relations about the ThisisRedFlag 2023 Graduate Employment Programme.

Red Flag Consulting, is an award-winning global public relations and public affairs agency based in Dublin with offices in Brussels, Washington, London and Cape Town. Red Flag specialises in providing strategic advice and support to clients in a variety of challenging industries, including healthcare, technology and energy. Red Flag’s graduate programme offers participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, developing skills across a range of services, including strategic consulting, political and regulatory advice, reputation management, crisis communications and campaigning.

Noel and Hazel not only talked to our BA (Hons) in Communications and Media Production students about the grad programme, they also delivered a presentation on the working life and career path options for graduates in the strategic communications, public affairs and public relations sector.

Also present were our students on the MA in Journalism and Public Relations. This postgrad course is approved by the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) and recognised for membership by the National Union of Journalists (NUJ).
