The Professional Law School at Griffith College offers a 14-week Final Examination Part 1 (FE1) Preparation Course aimed specifically at the examination papers set by Law Society of Ireland.

Our FE1 preparation courses offer a combination of:
 

  • 14 online lectures: pre-recorded lectures released weekly, meaning participants can watch lectures at a time and place convenient to them.
     
  • 2 e-tutorials: e-tutorials will be available via livestream so you can join in and they will also be recorded and made available to learners to watch in their own time.
     
  • 1 intensive exam preparation workshop: our intensive exam preparation workshop will be available for participants to attend via livestream and will also be recorded and made available so participants can watch in their own time.

  • 1 intensive exam preparation workshops: our six-hour intensive exam preparation workshop will be available for participants to attend via livestream and will also be recorded and made available so participants can watch in their own time.

 

Please note

The FE-1 exam is held twice a year, normally in Spring and Autumn.

You can only sit the exam if you have passed or are exempt from the Preliminary Examination. 

The Professional Law School at Griffith College are recognised for the quality of our preparation courses for the Law Society of Ireland, Final Examinations (Part 1).

If you intend to apply to the Law Society of Ireland to sit the FE1 Entrance Examinations you should (if you are unsure) check the requirements for application directly with the Law Society of Ireland (or on their website). It is your responsibility to find out the extent to which they will recognise your previous qualifications and/or experience.
