Donore Credit Union to celebrate 60th Anniversary!

Griffith College Dublin would like to offer our congratulations to the neighbouring Donore Credit Union, due to celebrate its 60th anniversary this April. The business, based in Rutledge Terrace just off the South Circular Road, first opened its doors back in April 1958, and is the first credit union in Ireland to reach this impressive milestone and can still count some of its original founders as present-day members. Donore CU will be marking its anniversary with a number of events for members, local schools and community organisations, to occur on the first Friday of each month. A partnership with Griffith College has also been established that will see a local student being offered the Brendan Lynch Scholarship. Everyone here at Griffith college, wishes Donore Credit Union the very best in their anniversary celebrations, as well as a long, and profitable future.
