Mobile device registration links your student account to one trusted phone.

Why We Use Mobile Device Registration

  • It protects your attendance record.
  • It prevents check-in from the wrong phone.
  • It helps staff trust that attendance is recorded correctly.

How It Works

  1. Sign in to the Griffith College app.
  2. When you see a registration prompt, tap Register.
  3. Keep using the same phone for attendance check-in.

Once registration is complete, attendance check-in can run as normal.

Registration reset required

If you change your phone, you must contact the IT Department in advance to have your old phone unenrolled from the platform so you can register your new phone.

Note: deleting the storage of your app should never be necessary, doing so will result in the phone being locked out of the platform and you will need to contact IT support to reset your registration.

What to do: Contact IT support to reset your registration, then register your current phone.

If You Change Phone

If you move to a new phone, you will need a reset from IT support before the new phone can be registered.

Important - To avoid disruption, contact support before disposing of your previous phone.

  • Keep the app updated.
  • If registration still fails, contact IT support.
