GCD Spring Courses

Spring is very much a Season for people to ease back into their schedules after a hectic Christmas period. It does, however present an ideal time to start something new.

With as many as 36 courses accepting applications in the early months of 2018, Griffith College has a range of exciting subjects to explore this Spring. From Business to Computing, from Law to Journalism all your interests are covered.

While it may be difficult to motivate yourself at this time of year, the commitment to learning something new in 2018 is as much an achievement, as it is an investment in yourself!

Our Courses

We’ve got a huge variety of courses on offer – a lot more than you’d expect for this time of year! You can choose from courses in Business, Computing, Design, Analytics, Professional Law, Journalism & Media Studies, Training & Education, Accountancy, Counselling and Psychotherapy and many, many others. BA (Hons) in Business Studies – Available full-time, part-time and through blended learning, this 3-year course focuses on the vital business roles played by finance, accounting, marketing, human resource management and information technology. (Available full-time and part-time)

MSc in Big Data Management and Analytics – This dynamic Master’s Degree course is available both full-time and part-time, and equips students with the necessary skills and analytic mind-set to pursue a career in the data analytics industry. (Available full-time and part-time)

MBA in International Business - Innovative Master’s Degree Course designed to prepare graduates for a career in international business management. (Available full-time and part-time)

MA in Journalism & Media Communications​ – Designed with input from Irish journalists, academics and media practitioners and offering a comprehensive and relevant multimedia syllabus. (Available full-time and part-time)

Special Purpose Certificate in Training & Education – Reflective Postgraduate  Certificate available part-time and delivered by way of three interlinked modules. (Limerick Only)

Certificate in Mediation – Single Semester course that provides an understanding of mediation as a career, as an alternative to litigation and introduces the mediation process.

Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering (B.Eng.IE) - One-year learning top-up degree that provides key competencies in the area of Industrial Engineering and related subjects. (Available full-time, part-time and through Blended Learning).

Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Skills and Practices – Short 10-week course delivered by the Irish College of Humanities & Applied Sciences (ICHAS) that serves as an excellent introduction to the area of counselling

ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) – Award-winning 3-Year Accountancy degree available either part-time or online.

What’s Griffith College like

Location wise we’ve got centrally located college campuses in the city centres in Dublin, Cork and Limerick. There’s ample parking in our Dublin campus on the South circular road and across all our campuses they are close to public transport routes and other amenities. 

Our courses are taught by highly engaged lecturers who are dedicated to ensuring course content is top-notch, industry relevant and up to date. Our courses constantly achieve highly graded customer satisfaction ratings.

We’ve got small class sizes so you get more attention from the lecturers. You’ll feel more confident at participating in class, asking questions and learning from your fellow students. There are great networking opportunities among your classmates for building your list of future business contacts.

There are flexible learning options - evening courses generally run one evening per week between 6.30pm and 9.30pm with a duration of 6, 10, 12 or 24 weeks depending on the particular course. Some of our skills development courses can be completed in 1 or 2 days. We also have some part-time courses that run on Saturdays only.

Longer term learning options - if you decide that you want to do more in-depth studies into your chosen topic, we have more advanced study options available. You can complete certificate, diploma, degree, postgraduate diploma and masters options at Griffith College too. We’re here to accommodate you when you decide to invest in yourself in a bigger way.
