Law Faculty Hosts ‘Law Student for a Day’ Experience for Secondary School Students
On Friday, October 24th, Griffith College hosted an inspiring Law Student for a Day 2025, giving aspiring legal minds a dramatic look at studying law.
The day started with a series of mini-lectures on key areas of Criminal Law led by our Faculty of Law Lecturers. Students gained the knowledge necessary to understand the Irish Courts, how fairness is achieved, and the importance of the jury.
Our current LL.B. (Hons) undergraduate students give first-hand insights into the life, challenges, and excitement of being a law student at Griffith.
The afternoon was dedicated to the main event: an Interactive Courtroom Drama!. Participants became the jury in a gripping mock trial involving a tragic series of events leading to the death of Juniper Rose, a witness to a robbery.
Students were tasked with reviewing the facts and exhibits gathered in the case, listening to key witnesses and arguments of the legal teams and deciding the outcome.
Thank you to all our students, staff, and attendees for making Law Student for a Day 2025 a massive success!
