Griffith alumni office launches series two of ‘Spotlight On’ podcast
Spotlight On is a series of short podcasts which highlights alumni achievements, explore alumni accomplishments, and reflect on their Griffith College journey.
Griffith College Alumni Officer Alex Bowkley returns for series two of the podcast to interview a cohort of graduates. Alex discusses a variety of topics with his guests, from careers and college experiences to guidance and tips for the future.
Series two will launch on all streaming networks the week commencing 7th September and will kick-start with BA in Fashion Design graduate, Hannah Moran-Jackson.

Hannah spoke to Alex about her current role as Global Junior Designer for a global fashion company as well as her recent experience on Ireland AM. Hannah and fellow-designer Cathy McEvoy made headlines having designed headbands for frontline medical workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism & Public Relations graduate Johann Fox will feature on podcast number two on Tuesday 8th September. Johann currently works as Director of U.S. Development, for CMRF Crumlin. A charity specialising in Children's Medical & Research. CMRF Crumlin provides vital funding for CHI Crumlin and The National Children’s Research Centre, achieving outstanding results.

Kelson Martins is Alex’s fourth guest of the season and is a graduate of the MSc in Computer Science course. Kelson currently works as a software engineer for IBM, is the host of the HardCodeCast, a podcast which brings together Brazilian technology professionals that have emigrated abroad. Kelson also has a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence, something that we explore during the podcast.

The series will close with BA in Film and TV Production graduate Sam Burke.
Sam currently works for Emerald Comet Productions a start-up freelance film production company. Sam has recently won ‘Best First Time Director for Silent Starling at the LA Film Awards’. A film about a girl who believes her voice is cursed.
