Thursday night saw some of Ireland’s top up and coming fashion designers wow spectators with their work at the Griffith College Fashion Show.
The fashion show saw more than 50 first, second and third year students of the BA (Hons) in Fashion Design at Griffith College display their collections with models from Assets Model Agency gracing the catwalk.

Now in its seventh year, the fashion show was compèred by former supermodel and presenter Alison Canavan in the Griffith College auditorium. Guests scouting for talent included Louis Copeland, Jennifer Rothwell, Helen McAlinden, Helen Cody, Nicola Kilkenny from Caroline Kilkenny and Fiona Heaney, of the independent fashion house Fee G.

Griffith College's Creative Week 2015
The fashion show was just the beginning of student celebrations at the college as the academic year draws to a close. The annual student exhibition, Griffith College Creative Week officially opens on Thursday 28th May. The exhibition showcases student work in the areas of design, interior architecture, photography, film, visual media and computing faculties.
The launch event from 6pm on Thursday 28th May will include film and television screenings introduced by Irish film producer Rebecca O’Flanagan, and exhibition introductions in their respective fields by artist and photographer Sean Hillen, RTE’s Design Doctors presenter and interior designer Garry Cohn and fashion and communications specialist Constance Harris.
Admission is free and the public is invited to the exhibition on the college’s campus until Thursday 4th June.
