About The Course

In this course, you will learn to apply existing manual pattern drafting skills using the latest in CAD technology, Lectra Modaris Model V7 software, to improve and streamline the garment design and production process.

If you have basic or advanced pattern cutting skills, are currently working or studying in fashion design and manufacturing, or just wish to get hands-on design experience, then this course is suited to you.

  • Use a digitising table to input patterns
  • Create and modify blocks on screen

Entry Requirements
Overview Dublin: 
Mature Students - If you are 23 years or over from the 1st January of this year, you can apply for this course directly using the College’s online application form. A member of the College’s admissions team will be in touch to discuss your course entry requirements. Under 23 Years - 5 Ordinary Level, Grade D3s or above in your Leaving Certificate (subjects to include Maths and a language) or equivalent exam taken. All applicants must be a user of Microsoft Office.
