Griffith Creative 2025: A Look Back at a Year of Creativity and Innovation
One year on from Griffith Creative Show 2025, the showcase still stands out as one of the college’s most exciting celebrations of student creativity, innovation, and collaboration. Across design, creative arts & screen media, and computing, the 2025 events brought together ambitious graduate work that captured the energy and talent emerging from Griffith College Dublin’s creative programmes.
The first launch of Griffith Creative 2025 focused on the Design Faculty, where students from Fashion Design, Graphic Communication Design, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, and Art & Design unveiled their final projects to the public. From bold fashion collections to thoughtful spatial design concepts and visually striking branding work, the exhibition highlighted the diversity of creative approaches across the department. The launch event also featured a live fashion show and an inspiring guest appearance from Irish designer, Helen Steele, who encouraged students as they prepared to enter the creative industries.
The momentum continued with the Creative Arts & Screen Media's Film, TV, & Screen Media Production student showcase at the iconic Lighthouse Cinema, where students screened their graduate films on the big screen. The evening was officially opened by Patricia Kelly, Irish writer, director, and founder of MnáMná Films, and celebrated storytelling in all its forms, with projects spanning documentary, drama, and experimental film. For many students, it marked their first public screening in a professional cinema setting; a major milestone and a fitting reflection of the high production standards achieved throughout the programme.
The final launch brought together Creative Arts & Screen Media's Photographic Media students and Computing Science students in a multidisciplinary exhibition that transformed the campus into an immersive creative space. Photography students presented powerful visual narratives through curated gallery displays, while Computing and Digital Media students showcased interactive projects, VR experiences, game design concepts, and emerging technologies. The exhibition demonstrated how creative storytelling and digital innovation are increasingly intersecting across industries and disciplines.
Looking back, Griffith Creative 2025 reflected the confidence, experimentation, and industry-ready talent of Griffith students across the creative sector. Each launch offered something different, but together they captured the collaborative spirit and creative ambition that defines the event year after year.
Now, with Griffith Creative 2026 officially launching this week on 21st May, excitement is already building around what’s to come next. Following the success of last year’s exhibitions, screenings, and installations, audiences can expect another dynamic showcase of fresh ideas, emerging talent, and boundary-pushing creative work. As anticipation grows across campus, Griffith Creative continues to establish itself as a key platform for celebrating the next generation of Irish creatives.
