About

The aim of LSMD Speech, Drama and Communication syllabus is to develop the candidates understanding of poetry, prose, drama, mime and improvisation, to develop the voice and to introduce candidates to the theory of good speech. The graded examinations focus on the all-round development of the candidate and is available for the following:

  • Speech and Drama
  • Effective Communication
  • Public Speaking
  • Choral Verse Speaking
  • Solo Acting
  • Duologues
  • Group Drama

Speech and Drama Syllabus 2022 - 2023

We are delighted to launch our NEW Speech & Drama Grade Examination Syllabus for 2022 - 2023. Our NEW Speech & Drama Grade Syllabus comes into effect from September 2022 and was written as a response to the changing times. The syllabus incorporates new elements while keeping elements from our previous syllabus. Please see below details for your attention:

*Please note: Candidates may still present for examination using the Old Speech & Drama Grade Syllabus until June 2023.
