Abbey Street Library is a fit-out project transforming the originally protected structure at 9 Abbey Street lower into a public library with extension features for Dublin City Council. In this context, extension features refer to additional spaces not typical to the traditional library such a cafe, maker-space and support center.

Historically the building has served as a Methodist church, providing support for people of different needs and services. Part of the project aims to incorporate and honor this.

The project aims to reimagine the traditional library into a multifunctional space connecting people and functions by creating spaces that foster creativity, interaction and collaboration.
