“Péckvillchen” is a project close to my heart, created for the 2026 ISTD brief “Trade Matters.” Named after Luxembourg’s traditional clay bird whistle, the publication traces the object’s journey from local heritage to contemporary revival. By blending editorial structure with playful typography, I translated this craft into a premium yet accessible format, designed to spark curiosity across all generations - from children discovering the whistle to elders exploring their heritage.

Beyond editorial design, I am a lover of UX/UI systems and visual identity. I developed a challenge-based app to foster intentional engagement and positive reinforcement in a distracted digital world. Additionally, my photography project “Awaken Your Inner Child” uses rustic styling and low-key lighting to capture the nostalgia of traditional breakfasts.

Across all media, my work always focuses on emotional storytelling, creating engaging experiences that celebrate belonging, mindfulness and culture.

A Japanese-bound book titled “Péckvillchen” showcasing a textured oatmeal paper cover and exposed black spine stitching.
A dynamic 3D mockup showcasing two smartphones displaying a user dashboard and a "Challenge saved" confirmation screen.
A vellum overlay with a faint silhouette and the words “sound” and “on” framing a die-cut window that reveals a vintage photo of a child using the whistle.
A minimalist spread displaying a quote about heritage on the left and a hand-drawn map of Nospelt and Luxembourg on the right.
A clean typographic layout featuring a text profile of craftsman Ed Kandel on a narrow-cut page that reveals a sliver of Luxembourgish narrative from the spread beneath.
A spread titled “A Collaborative Craft” including text about 3D-printed clay and a photograph of modern white bird whistles.
A series of four mobile screens illustrating the user flow for selecting a focus and crafting a personalized engagement challenge.
Four app screens demonstrating the journey from active challenge tracking and reel interaction to completion and achievement badges.
A black-and-white, long-exposure photograph capturing the blurred motion of a hand reaching into a dark bowl filled with oats on a rustic linen cloth.
A cinematic diptych showing a glass of milk on the left and a hand in a green sweater reaching for the same glass next to a bowl of oats on the right.
