“METAL AND MUSE” is a Spring/Summer collection based on strength and resilience. Inspired by the legacy of warrior Queen Medb of Connacht, the designer imagines a young, modern Medb in today’s world, where conflict and war continue. Looking at the concept of armoured protection, this collection delivers a youthful denim range for a brave and creative customer. The collection balances bold expression with functionality and includes structured silhouettes with a modern twist, such as the ceremonial battledress inspired asymmetric cloak, the sculptural 3D dress and silver metal armour-inspired details. The black and silver palette mirrors themes of contemporary conflict and empowerment. This collection is crafted from a single natural fabric, embracing a mono-material design that supports greater circularity than blended fabrics and fibres. Ripped selvedge detail reinforces the designer's commitment to zero-waste design.
