"SEE-THROUGH" is an ethereal S/S 27 occasionwear collection that explores the emotional and physical realities of eating disorders, challenging their romanticization while highlighting this important issue and its hidden aspects. The designer draws on her own personal experience from feeling "hollow" at the beginning through to her recovery and "rebirth". Each garment represents a stage of fragmentation, survival, and the slow reclaiming of a sense of self-worth. A palette of soft nudes and bruise-inspired purples, focuses on our flesh and the marks left beneath the surface. The key shapes are flowy dresses and blouses combined with structured corsetry and finished with delicate lace trims. Deadstock natural materials, such as silk and cotton, were carefully selected to support sustainability while reinforcing a sense of exclusivity and craftsmanship. This collection is designed for a customer who loves delicate femininity but is not afraid to speak her truth to inspire others.
