I have an intense love for sound recording and sound design. My intention in my work is to give the audience an intense visceral reaction through crafted sound design. For my final-year film, I recorded sound on a film named Ride or Die, and I was assistant director on a film called The Carving. Both films were a challenge for different reasons and conditions, but through passion and determination, I can say I am proud of the result. When I first started this course, I had no intention of focusing on sound, but hours of editing later, I can gladly say it is something I want to spend the rest of my life doing. Without the teaching and guidance of my sound teacher, I would not have been able to successfully achieve this result, and I am extremely excited to see where I can take my career in sound.
