My name is Miguel Lau and I am a third year student in the Griffith College Film and Tv course, my main interests are cinematography and editing. In the last two years the projects I have done in and outside of the school have solidified my interest as film making as a career, specifically the idea of creating and sharing what I can do. Being behind the camera makes me feel like I am helping shape the world of the films, trying to film the angles and shots trying to push my creativity forward, and editing them scratches a certain itch, seeing how the individual shots and scenes come together, restructuring and polishing the footage into more than what it was originally planned, that’s when I know I am putting something out in the world.
