The overall aim of the Certificate in Marketing and Sales is to offer a practical programme that equips owner/managers and sales and marketing staff with the necessary communications skills, tools and techniques to advance their own personal performance as marketing and sales professionals.

Course details

This practical programme will best suit learners who need to upskill or cross skill into the areas of marketing and sales, or those who want to improve their overall professional ability.

The programme has one module titled Marketing and Sales. This module comprises of four units/topics:

  • Sales and sales management
  • Practical marketing
  • Digital marketing
  • Business analysis and the business environment

This course will run on a part-time basis, from 9am - 5pm over 4 Months, course dates outlined below.​

Entry Requirements

Mature Students 

If you are 23 years or over from the 1st January of this year, you can apply for this course directly using the College’s online application form.

Under 23 Years 

Old Leaving Cert (Pre 2017)

5 Ordinary Level D3s (subjects to include a language, English, Irish or another language) or equivalent exam taken.

New Leaving Cert

5 O6/H7 grades, to include a language (English, Irish or another language).
