Cultivating Action, Communication and Transformation in a Demanding World

Why study Balancing ACT at Griffith College?

Sometimes there are so many competing priorities waiting for completion that it's easy to get overwhelmed. With so much expected of you, how do you manage them all at the same time? What helps minimise anxiety when faced with multiple challenges at once?

In this course you will:

  • Learn innovations to handle high pressure like a trapeze artist and glide through demanding days.
  • Understand stress better and how to use it to your advantage.
  • Identify your 'stress style' and skills to avoid being triggered or ambushed.
  • Optimise creativity to manage stress during chaos or challenge, but also on an ongoing basis daily.
  • Understand why multitasking does not really work but actually overwhelms us.
  • Learn how to prioritise tasks by understanding our personal energy patterns.
