We have been tasked to create a co-working office space for creatives local to the are; ensuring the space is creatively stimulating, promotes collaboration, provides a variety of working environments, adheres to technical guidance documents, applies sustainable design, and aims to incorporate Universal Design practices. This brief has created the concept ‘Perspective’, a concept built on the initial inspiration of the pneumatic tube system, as a way of transporting ideas and messages between people. This concept has been applied to this office environment, by using both private and shared office spaces, with many breakout areas. Allowing the transfer of ideas from workspace to workspace and the sharing of individual perspectives formed by unique experiences.
