Ink & Oak is a boutique hotel concept that gives the former Ulster Bank in Blessington a new life while preserving its historic character. The project is designed around the idea of slowing down, staying present and enjoying moments of connection in a warm and intimate space inspired by Victorian libraries. 

It’s more than just a place to sleep – Ink & Oak is a place to talk, read, drink, rest and enjoy the atmosphere. Rich colours, warm timber, brass details, artwork and books accompanied by soft textiles and layered lighting design create a sense of quiet luxury. 

Public spaces encourage conversation and social interaction, while guest areas offer comfort and privacy. A key feature is the Whiskey Vault – a former bank safe transformed into a small, immersive bar.
