Guiding Light Studio is a collaborative office building which explores how space can intuitively guide and ground its users. Inspired by the lighthouse and anchor of Howth’s maritime culture, the project transforms these symbols into a user-centered experience, capturing the moment light reflects in the eye when clarity is found. This idea is translated into two different floor layouts: the ground floor, a dynamic collaborative floor that encourages interaction and movement, and the first floor, a calm, grounded level designed for focus and wellness. Using materials, colours and intentional spatial design, the environment itself becomes a subtle guide. Users are led naturally throughout the space, shifting between energy and stillness, creating a workplace that supports both creativity, productivity, and a strong sense of purpose.
