This project explores the transformation of an industrial unit into a welcoming, collaborative  office space for designers. Inspired by the experience of walking along Howth’s famous cliffs, the concept creates an environment that feels both grounding and inspiring. The design reflects this journey through textured edges and a calm, focused central space, mirroring the natural contrast of the cliffs. Rooted in biophilic design principles, the space incorporates natural materials, organic forms, and a strong connection to light and nature to enhance wellbeing and productivity. Sustainability is also central to the project, with careful material selection and adaptive spaces shaping a more responsible and enduring design. Subtle details draw from the surrounding landscape, including references to the lighthouse on the pier, as well as driftwood and sea-worn shells. By combining these elements, the office brings the essence of Howth indoors, fostering creativity, calm, and connection for its users.
