Ulster Bank building Main St, Blessington.

For this project, I took the old Ulster Bank building located on the Main Street in Blessington and turned it into a boutique hotel. Upon starting this project, I was immediately drawn to the beautiful scenery surrounding Blessington. This is what inspired me to create a calm and comfortable hotel design inspired by the forests and lakes in Blessington, a place to reconnect and feel at home. The rich greens, warm timber and earthy textures create a sense of luxury rooted in Wicklows natural beauty. The deep forest greens are inspired by the Wicklow Mountains. The earthy textures give a relaxing atmosphere to the hotel, which is exactly what I want to achieve, a place that gives a home away from home feel allowing guests to unwind.
